An Illinois federal judge has signed off on a $5.7 million settlement for a class of Sentry Insurance policyholders who say they never received promised refunds for good driving.

Motorists asked an Illinois federal court Monday to approve a deal for Sentry Insurance to pay $5.7 million, including about $1.9 million in attorneys' fees, to resolve class action claims the company failed to honor a promise to reward good drivers.
