A genetics company and a mother who filed a proposed class action claiming the company misrepresented the accuracy of its tests for determining a baby's sex have resolved their dispute, according to a Thursday filing in California federal court.

A California federal judge has temporarily struck down a mother’s proposed class action accusing a genetics company of deceptively promoting the accuracy of its baby gender test, finding the evidence she’d presented supporting a claim the company knew of the falsity wasn’t specific enough.
