Wearable tech company Valencell Inc. on Monday urged a North Carolina federal court to reject Apple Inc.'s bid to pause a case accusing it of deceptive practices and patent infringement, saying the tech giant wrongly assumes the case will be transferred.

Apple, Fitbit Slapped With Suits Over Wearable Tech Patents
Apple and Fitbit were each slapped with lawsuits by wearable tech company Valencell Inc. on Monday over allegations that they learned Valencell technology secrets through deceptive practices rather than legal partnerships with the company in order to make devices that infringe on a number of Valencell patents.
