Wells Fargo Ducks Some Claims Over SWIFT Transfer Security
A New York federal judge on Tuesday nixed negligence and breach of contract claims in an Ecuadorian bank's suit accusing Wells Fargo of failing to block a $12 million heist carried out over the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication platform, but refused to toss a state law claim that needed more investigation.

Ecuadorean Bank Is 3rd Caught Up In Hack Of SWIFT Users
The number of banks hit by a malware attack that has affected users of the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication platform has grown to three, with an Ecuadorean bank revealing in court documents unearthed Friday that cybercriminals had stolen about $12 million from it.
