Skullcandy Ducks Investor Suit Over Rosy Outlook Stock Drop
A Utah federal judge on Wednesday dismissed claims that Skullcandy Inc. issued a falsely optimistic 2015 holiday outlook before disclosing Chinese distribution problems that saw share prices drop by nearly a third, finding that investors didn't sufficiently allege the headphone maker had knowledge of wrongdoing.

An investor filed a proposed class action against headphone maker Skullcandy Inc. and three of its executives in Utah federal court Friday, claiming they issued a falsely optimistic 2015 holiday outlook that let one executive cash in $4 million in stock before disclosing Chinese distribution problems that saw share prices drop by nearly a third.
