Insurer's $6M Suit Over Sandy-Ruined Coffee Settled
An indemnity lawsuit filed by Zurich American Insurance Co. against Pacific Indemnity Co. to cover a $6 million claim from a lawsuit over a coffee shipment ruined by flooding from Superstorm Sandy was dismissed by a New Jersey federal judge Thursday in light of a settlement between the parties.

Zurich American Insurance Co. has filed suit in New Jersey federal court against Pacific Indemnity Co., saying that the insurer should foot the bill for a $6 million coverage claim stemming from a lawsuit over a coffee shipment that was ruined by flooding from Superstorm Sandy.
