Gunmaker Wants Designer's Suit Paused, Moved Or Tossed
A Texas firearms manufacturer asked an Illinois federal judge Wednesday to pause or transfer a lawsuit claiming it breached a contract with a company that designed handguns for the U.S. Army, saying contract claims should be considered by a Texas court in which the manufacturer previously sued the designing company.

Licensee Misfired On Army Gun Manufacture, IP Holder Says
An Illinois company that designed handguns for the U.S. Army has sued a licensee and won a state court restraining order barring manufacture of the weapons after it claimed the manufacturer failed to turn over prototypes for inspection, according to a removal notice in Illinois federal court Thursday.
