Oil Shipper's Rail Car Contract Suit Off-Base, Judge Hears
Crude oil transporter Murex LLC's contract to lease rail cars from Union Tank Car Co. does not constitute a fiduciary relationship, Union Tank told a Texas federal judge Wednesday, asking him to dismiss Murex's allegations the rail car maker wrongly refused to modify a contract.

Railcar Co.'s Failure To Alter Order Broke Promise, Suit Says
A crude oil shipper sued its longtime railcar provider in a case removed to Texas federal court Friday, saying the manufacturer violated an agreement when it delivered cars that had not been altered despite changes in weight regulations, limiting the amount of oil per car.
