    Privacy Group Asks 9th Circ. To Revive Car Data Hack Suit

    Civil liberties advocates urged a federal appeals court on Friday to revive a class action against Toyota, General Motors and Ford over the data their cars transmit while driving, saying the systems are susceptible to hacking — and that a district judge dismissed the suit because he didn't understand that, legally, an injury is different from a harm.
