A Connecticut federal judge on Tuesday axed a former Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. engineer's suit alleging he was laid off due to his Muslim faith, Balkan heritage and dark complexion, saying there wasn't enough evidence to show he was treated differently than his colleagues.

A Connecticut federal judge rejected a false claims act suit against Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. on Monday, saying the employee who brought the suit had failed to identify a specific instance in which the company sold allegedly faulty helicopter blades to the U.S. government.
