Insurer Says County Fair Clearly Not Covered For Fatal Fall
Essex Insurance Co. asked a federal court Monday to find it doesn't have to defend or indemnify a California fair from a suit brought by the family of a woman who died in a 2015 fall, saying there's no question the policy at issue didn't cover injuries on a tower-jump attraction.

Insurer Says No Duty To Defend After Fatal County Fair Fall
Essex Insurance Co. on Friday hit a California county fair and a company that runs amusement attractions with a complaint in federal court, saying that it doesn't have to defend them in an underlying suit brought by the family of a woman who died in a fall last May.
