A bankrupt Apple Inc. accessories distributor suing Markowitz Herbold PC over its decision to represent the company's co-owner in a derivative suit urged an Oregon federal judge on Tuesday to rethink his decision to free the firm from the lawsuit, saying his application of the statute of limitations was flawed.

Oregon firm Markowitz Herbold Glade & Mehlhaf PC was hit Monday with a federal malpractice suit by an owner of a now-bankrupt Apple accessories distributor claiming the firm breached its duty to the company when it chose to represent the company's co-owner in a derivative suit.
