Chevron Reaches $3.2M Deal In Managers' Missed OT Suit
Chevron Corp. has agreed to pay $3.2 million to resolve allegations that it misclassified drill site managers as independent contractors and failed to pay them overtime, according to a motion for approval of the settlement filed by the workers in California federal court Friday.

A California federal judge on Tuesday granted conditional certification of a collective action by a group of drill site managers who are suing Chevron Corp. alleging that it misclassified them as independent contractors and failed to pay overtime, finding that the group met the lenient standard for such a certification.
