Two proposed class action suits claiming Raymond James & Associates was involved in a fraudulent scheme targeting EB-5 investors in Vermont's Jay Peak ski resort were voluntarily dismissed without prejudice by the plaintiffs in the Green Mountain State and Florida in the last week.

A Florida federal judge paused a proposed class action suit against brokerage firm Raymond James and a fund manager allegedly involved in an EB-5 scheme Tuesday, while the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation decides if it will consolidate the case with other pending suits in Vermont.
