Golf Course's $142K OT Class Settlement Wins Approval
A Florida federal judge on Wednesday approved an agreement settling a proposed Fair Labor Standards Act class action alleging a country club split its workers' hours between two courses to avoid paying overtime, saying the more than $142,000 the workers are getting is a fair compromise.

Fla. Golf Course To Pay $130K To Settle FLSA Suit
A country club and a group of workers asked a Florida federal court Thursday to dismiss a Fair Labor Standards Act suit claiming the club split workers' hours between two courses to avoid paying overtime, saying nearly $96,000 in payments the club made to 35 workers and another $34,000 in fees it will pay resolves the issues.
