A travel website user in a putative class action suit against The Priceline Group Inc. hit back Monday against the company's motion to dismiss his suit, arguing to a Connecticut court that Priceline was not entitled to keep the sales tax on a rental car he never used.

Online travel services company Priceline Group Inc. asked a Connecticut federal judge to toss a proposed class action over its refund policy on Friday, arguing that the customer who brought the suit did not suffer an injury and thus lacks standing.
