States Make Final Push To Remand VW Diesel Cases
A number of states made their final pleas to remand their lawsuits in the multidistrict litigation over Volkswagen AG's diesel emissions scandal, asking a California federal court Tuesday to send their suits back to state court based on lack of jurisdiction over their respective consumer protection and environmental claims.

New Mexico Wants VW Emissions Suit Back In State Court
New Mexico on Tuesday asked a California federal judge to send back to state court its lawsuit against Volkswagen AG and its subsidiaries over the automaker's alleged scheme to evade government-mandated emissions testing, saying that no federal jurisdiction exists.
