Uber Technologies Inc. on Monday once again hammered away at a proposed class action in Florida federal court accusing the company of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, arguing that the driver who brought suit must arbitrate her claims in spite of an amended complaint.

Uber Technologies Inc. is facing yet another proposed class action accusing the ride-hailing service of violating the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, this time in Florida federal court from a woman who filed a suit Tuesday claiming she received unauthorized, automated text messages.
