Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center has agreed to settle a medical malpractice suit accusing the hospital of misdiagnosing a teenager's tumor that purportedly contributed to his death, according to documents filed Wednesday in New Hampshire federal court.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center can't escape a medical malpractice suit filed by Vermont residents who allege the New Hampshire-based center misdiagnosed the large tumor that led to the death of their teenage son, a New Hampshire federal judge ruled on Tuesday.
