Insurers Left Door Open For Condo Rot Coverage, Court Says
Great American Assurance Co. and Greenwich Insurance Co. might be on the hook for interior rot in a condo community they insured, a Washington federal court said Tuesday, finding that two policies worth roughly $6.7 million failed to exclude "wet or dry rot" and other terms that could create coverage.
