Deceived Customer Urges Sanctioning AT&T In False Ad Suit
A retired California attorney urged a federal judge to send his putative class action suit back to state court Monday, also arguing that the judge should sanction AT&T Inc. and DirecTV for trying to dodge state consumer law claims tied to alleged misrepresentations by an authorized retailer and for billing him for an iPhone after he returned it.

Experian Wants Out Of Spat Over AT&T Authorized Retailers
Experian asked a California federal court Wednesday to release it from a proposed class action brought by a man who alleges he was duped into thinking an AT&T authorized retailer was run by the corporation and improperly billed for a phone plan after returning the iPhone he bought.
