Commerce and Industry Insurance Co. on Tuesday joined Liberty Mutual in its suit claiming two other insurers are primarily responsible for coverage stemming from a deadly explosion at an oil well site, telling a Texas federal judge that any coverage under policies it offered also is secondary.

Liberty Mutual Fire Insurance Co. turned to a Texas federal court Thursday with a lawsuit alleging two other insurers are primarily responsible for defense and indemnity obligations stemming from a deadly explosion at a Texas oil well site.
