A New York federal judge handed a win to Burberry Ltd. on Monday, ordering an Atlanta producer and rapper who went by the name Burberry Perry to temporarily stop using the name in various social media and online music accounts, saying it could cause serious harm to the existing fashion brand.

British fashion brand Burberry Ltd. filed a trademark infringement lawsuit Monday against an Atlanta rapper going by the name "Burberry Perry," accusing him of a "clear attempt to trade off of the fame and goodwill" of the luxury house.
