A creditor of a bankrupt Pennsylvania business told a Pennsylvania federal judge on Sunday that it had settled claims against a law firm and a lender that the Third Circuit had said it was allowed to pursue after the claims were released by the bankruptcy trustee on the case.

Pennsylvania law firm Leisawitz Heller and asset-based loan provider North Mill Capital LLC were accused in Pennsylvania federal court Wednesday of conspiring with the former owner of a tableware supplier to divert its assets to avoid a $920,000 judgment for failing to pay a Mexican company for materials.
