A New York federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a proposed class action against Kraft Heinz Foods Co. and Daisy Brand LLC that claimed the companies deceived customers by advertising their sour cream as "natural," ruling that the named plaintiff's claims are based on conjecture and speculation.

Kraft Heinz Foods Co. asked a New York federal judge Tuesday to dismiss a putative class action filed by a consumer who claims the "All Natural" label on its Breakstone's sour cream is misleading, saying the argument relating to animals' consumption of GMOs has been rejected by all three branches of government.
