A California federal judge on Tuesday dismissed a proposed class action from General Mills consumers accusing the company of misrepresenting its sugary cereals and bars as healthy, ruling that the products' labels had information explaining exactly how much sugar they contain.

General Mills is facing a California proposed class action alleging that consumers have been tricked into thinking dozens of its best-selling products, including Honey Nut Cheerios and other varieties of the classic cereal, are healthy when they actually contain large amounts of added sugar.
