NY Agency Ordered To OK Speech Device For Disabled Girl
A New York federal judge has ordered the state's Department of Health to approve a speech-generating device for a severely disabled 7-year-old girl on Medicaid, ruling Wednesday that the $14,000 system is a better option for her than lower-cost alternatives pushed by the agency.
