A North Carolina federal judge ruled against a luxury Italian furniture brand Friday in its dispute with a Colorado design firm over a deal to furnish Mormon temples, saying Giemme Stile SpA can't shirk a $166,000 arbitration award and must pay attorney fees as well.

A Colorado design firm whose deal to supply a luxury Italian furniture brand's products to Mormon temples ended up in arbitration has urged a North Carolina federal judge to keep its $166,000 award intact, saying the Italian company's opposition to paying attorneys' fees contradicts its former stance.
