Beauty products company Vogue International asked a Florida federal judge Monday to rule that Hartford Casualty Insurance Co. must cover its costs to defend a lawsuit alleging it disparaged and ripped off the trademarks of a rival company, while the insurer pushed the court to dismiss the suit.

Vogue International on Thursday launched a suit accusing Hartford Casualty Insurance Co. of wrongly ditching its coverage duties after the former hair products maker was sued for allegedly disparaging and ripping off the trademark of a rival company.
