    In a precedential opinion, the Federal Circuit on Friday revived an infringement suit alleging that Apple used another company's intellectual property for its iPhone touch screen, finding that a California federal judge erred by invalidating two patents because he hadn't done the proper analysis to find they were indefinite.

    Fed. Circ. Mulls Outcome Of Apple's Touchscreen IP Win

    Upholding Apple's lower court win against a touchscreen patent infringement suit will not lead to a widespread problem of patents being considered too vague, the tech giant on Tuesday told a Federal Circuit panel concerned that a district court's ruling could cause a "dramatic change" in patent law.
