A Texas federal judge on Tuesday approved a settlement between the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and a Dallas-area sports bar that allegedly fired a bartender because she was pregnant.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit Wednesday against Texas-based Nick's Sports Grill, accusing it of discriminatory hiring and firing practices after a female bartender was fired during her pregnancy.
