Arena Retractable Roof Patents Invalid, Engineering Firm Says
An engineering firm accused of infringing patents for retractable roof systems in relation to work on two U.S. Open tennis arenas shot back at the designer bringing the lawsuit, telling a New York federal judge Friday that the patents at issue are invalid and were initially awarded by deceiving the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
