Ubiquiti Faces New RICO Allegations In Synopsys IP Row
Ubiquiti will face new Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act allegations in Synopsys' suit alleging the networking company didn't pay to use its design software, after a California federal judge ruled from the bench on Wednesday that there was sufficient evidence Ubiquiti may have willfully ignored its employees' misconduct.

Synopsys Says Ubiquiti Used Software With Counterfeit Keys
Synopsys on Friday accused California-based networking company Ubiquiti of using its automated design and simulation software thousands of times without paying for a license, saying a company executive had used and encouraged employees to use Synopsys materials with key codes taken from hacker websites.
