A trade secrets dispute over the manufacture of super strong coatings and other materials is likely heading to arbitration after a Wednesday agreement between a Washington company and an Austrian one to stay their federal suit in Washington.

A Washington-state-based company that specializes in manufacturing super strong coatings, metals and materials asked a federal court on Tuesday to force an Austrian company to arbitrate parts of their trade secrets dispute over the unauthorized use of a certain proprietary process.
