Charter Communications relied on Federal Communications Commission oversight of internet providers Friday in yanking into federal court a New York attorney general lawsuit accusing the company and its recently acquired and rebranded Time Warner Cable subsidiary of bilking customers with broken promises of fast internet speeds.
