The Fourth Circuit assented Tuesday to Toyota's and a customer's joint dismissal of claims that some Toyotas' dashboards melted or degraded from sun exposure, in an appeal that was to center around the denial of Toyota's wish to arbitrate.

Toyota Broke Promise To Fix Melting Dashboards, Suit Says
Two years after ending a lawsuit by promising to fix melting dashboards, Toyota Motor Corp. has failed to deliver under a program that will end in three months, a proposed class of customers told a South Carolina federal court Thursday.
