Ericsson Says HTC Wireless Royalties Suit Belongs In Texas
Ericsson Inc. told a Washington federal court Monday that a suit brought by HTC America Inc. alleging excessive royalty demands for aging standard-essential patents should be dismissed for lack of jurisdiction or, alternatively, moved to Texas, as Ericsson's U.S. operations are based there.

HTC Hits Ericsson With FRAND Suit Over Wireless Network IP
HTC America Inc. filed a FRAND suit in Washington federal court on Thursday alleging Ericsson Inc. refuses to accept its fair and reasonable royalty rate calculations to license standard-essential patents related to cellular and wireless networks, saying Ericsson is attempting to overcharge it for soon-to-be-obsolete technology.
