A Kentucky federal judge Wednesday ended a property owner's suit seeking to force an ExxonMobil unit to pay cleanup costs at a Superfund site in Louisville eyed for redevelopment after the parties brokered a settlement for an unknown amount.

ExxonMobil Oil Corp. was hit with a lawsuit in Kentucky federal court on Tuesday for cleanup costs at a Superfund site in the state so the property can be redeveloped for housing, with the property's current owner saying the oil company is responsible for environmental contamination at the site.
