A D.C. federal judge agreed Tuesday to dismiss the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of the Fort Hall Reservation of Idaho's suit alleging the U.S. Department of the Interior paid only a fraction of the roughly $1.63 million it owed to support the tribes' justice system programs.

Idaho Tribes Claim Feds Illegally Underpaid Contract Costs
The Shoshone-Bannock Tribes of the Fort Hall Reservation in Idaho filed a lawsuit in D.C. federal court Friday alleging that the U.S. Department of the Interior paid them only about a third of negotiated support costs stemming from contracts to fund the operation of their law enforcement and adult and juvenile corrections programs.
