A Virginia federal judge on Friday continued preventing the prime contractor on a $49 million U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services tech support contract from booting the subcontractor from the project, following the subcontractor’s contention that it would suffer “catastrophic harm” if the agreement ended.

A government technology contractor on Tuesday tore into its subcontractor on a $49 million U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services tech support contract, saying that the partnership held in place by a Virginia federal court injunction is forcing it to "carry" the "nonperforming" subcontractor at a monthly cost of roughly $200,000.
