Spa Worker Must Arbitrate Claims Over Rape Allegation
A spa facialist who worked onboard a Princess Cruise Lines ship must arbitrate her claim against her spa company employer over an alleged rape that took place while she was off-duty, although her claims against the cruise line can remain in court, a Florida federal judge ruled Tuesday.

Cruise Worker Says Rape Allegations Shouldn't Be Arbitrated
A South African woman employed as a spa facialist on board a Princess Cruise Lines ship urged a Florida federal judge on Wednesday to deny the cruise line's bid to arbitrate in the Bahamas her suit over an alleged rape that took place while she was off-duty, arguing that the alleged assault has nothing do with an arbitration provision in her employment agreement.
