Nestlé's Spinach Shards Suit In Wrong Court, Judge Says
Nestlé USA Inc.'s case against a supplier of frozen spinach allegedly contaminated with glass shards came to a standstill Friday, when a California federal judge ruled that Nestlé cannot assert state law claims in district court when both parties are based in California.

A California federal judge said Monday he's considering dismissing Nestle's contract suit against a frozen food provider over glass shards in spinach shipments that prompted a $9 million recall, after Inn Foods Inc. argued the parties don't have sufficient ties to the locale.
