    Textile Co. Wants Out Of Thread Count Suit With TJ Maxx

    An Indian textile manufacturer urged a Massachusetts federal judge Friday to dismiss it from a proposed class action over allegedly inflated thread counts on bedding and linen products sold at Marshalls, HomeGoods and other TJX Companies Inc. stores, saying the court lacks jurisdiction over it.

    TJ Maxx Shoppers Bolster Thread Count Inflation Claims

    The parent company of T.J. Maxx, HomeGoods, Marshalls and Sierra Trading Post and two textile companies were hit with expanded allegations in Massachusetts federal court Friday by shoppers who claim that they inflated the thread count of bedding and linen products to boost profits by making the goods more attractive.
