Inc. to continue oil and gas drilling in the state despite an administrative challenge by the Mandan, Hidatsa & Arikara Nation, finding the company had a strong chance of reversing the Interior Board of Land Appeals' decision to temporarily halt its operations pending the tribe's appeal.

    Slawson Exploration Co. Inc. on Friday asked a North Dakota federal court to allow the company to continue drilling while a review of its permits by the Interior Board of Land Appeals is underway, saying the company will suffer significant losses if it’s forced to stop.
