Gap's False Ad Voucher Deal For 19M Shoppers Nears OK
A California judge said Friday he'll preliminarily approve Gap's settlement offering 19 million online shoppers up to two $6 vouchers each — worth up to $228 million — to end allegations its outlet stores advertised misleading discounts, but asked for more information on the typical claims rate in voucher deals.

Gap, Banana Republic Fight Calif. Outlet Pricing Suit
The Gap Inc. and Banana Republic LLC urged a California federal judge Thursday to toss a shopper's putative class action accusing the retailers of misleading consumers about alleged deals advertised at factory stores, arguing the shoppers weren't harmed by the lower prices.
