A Texas federal court on Friday stayed a series of lawsuits accusing Allergan PLC of violating antitrust laws to keep generics for the dry-eye medication Restasis off the market, until the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation decides whether the cases should be combined.

Allergan Inc. asked a Texas federal judge on Thursday to pause several suits alleging the company delayed the launch of generic versions of its dry-eye medication Restasis, in part by transferring patents to a Native American tribe, until a decision is made about forming a multidistrict litigation.
