A former employee of Martin Shkreli at Turing Pharmaceuticals LLC said Monday the convicted "pharma bro" fraudster has hit him with a counterclaim in their investor dispute that contradicts a court ruling made just two months ago.

A Brooklyn federal judge has ruled that a former employee of convicted "pharma bro" fraudster Martin Shkreli at Turing Pharmaceuticals LLC, now Vyera Pharmaceuticals, can move forward with his fraud and contract suit against Shkreli and tack on another five claims, but must jettison his RICO claim.

A federal magistrate judge in Brooklyn rejected a request by an ex-employee at Martin Shkreli's drug company Vyera Pharmaceuticals to disqualify Fox Rothschild LLP from representing both Shkreli and Vyera, criticizing parts of the former employee's arguments as "disingenuous" and "stupid" at a hearing on Thursday.

Turing Pharmaceuticals LLC and its jailed founder Martin Shkreli on Thursday panned the company's former director of investor relations for trying to boot their counsel from his securities fraud suit, telling a New York federal judge that a Fox Rothschild LLP attorney can represent them both without a conflict of interest.
