Mother, Child Separated In Immigration Detention, Suit Says
Immigration authorities wrongfully separated a Congolese woman from her young daughter while they wait in detention for their asylum petitions to be processed, according to a suit filed by the American Civil Liberties Union in California federal court Monday.
