    U.S. District Judge William Alsup on Thursday appeared open to tossing one of Uniloc USA Inc.'s six patent infringement suits against Apple Inc. that's pending before him, saying the patent-in-suit appears to be describing old technology that he used in the 1980s and "if that's all the patent is, then we're wasting our time."
