A Georgia federal court has tossed a proposed class action seeking to hold a bar admissions software company financially accountable for dozens of bar applicants being told that they had failed their exams when they had actually passed, determining that the applicants did not have a direct contract with the company.

A technology company whose software was used in connection with Georgia's bar exam asked a Georgia federal court on Friday to dismiss a proposed class action brought by bar applicants who were initially told that they failed the July 2015 and February 2016 tests but had actually passed.
